Aluminium Products Company Ltd. (ALUPCO) is the largest producer and the leader in the market of extruded and surface treated aluminium profiles in the Middle East .




Location
ALUPCO's head office and Dammam plant is located in Dammam 1st Industrial City (Eastern Province) while Jeddah plant is located in Jeddah Industrial City - Phase II (Western Province). ALUPCO also operate a sales office in Riyadh city to cater to the needs of all customers based in the capital of Saudi Arabia and its neighboring localities.



Investment
ALUPCO is a limited liability company with paid-up capital of 150 Million Saudi Riyals (US$ 40 Millions). ALUPCO was established in 1975 and with its two large and modern plants, represents a total investment of over 500 Million Saudi Riyals (˜US$ 120 Million).

Product Range
Aluminium profiles in mill, anodized, polyester powder coated and chemically brightened finishes as per customers' requirement.
ALUPCO's profiles are mainly used in the building and other industries as raw material for the fabrication of many products:
Windows, doors, curtain walls, etc. for the building industry.
Specially designed profiles in hard alloys for the automotive and other industries Special profiles in various shapes and alloys for the electrical industry Profiles for lighting fixtures and for the furniture industries Profiles with special finish for decorative purposes Other specific applications like signboards, crash barriers, etc.

Equipment

Dammam plant:

a) Aluminium extrusion:
Three (3) extrusion presses: 1630 Tons, 2500 Tons and 3500/3800 Tons (the largest in the Middle East ). Total production capacity is 30,000 Metric Tons of aluminium profiles per annum

b) Surface treatment:
One (1) anodizing line with a capacity of 6,000 Metric Tons of anodized profiles per annum
One (1) chemical brightening line with a capacity of 1,500 Metric Tons per annum
One (1) vertical painting line with a capacity of 12,000 Metric Tons per annum


Jeddah plant:

a) Aluminium extrusion:
Four (4) extrusion presses: 2000 Tons, 2140 Tons, 2500 Tons and 2500/2750 Tons. Total production capacity is 35,000 Metric Tons of aluminium profiles per annum

b) Surface Treatment:
One (1) anodizing line with a capacity of 6,000 Metric Tons of anodized profiles per annum
One (1) vertical painting line with a capacity of 13,000 Metric Tons per annum
Two (2) horizontal painting lines with a total capacity of 8,000 Metric Tons per annum

c) Cut-to-size facility which can supply customers with profiles at the required lengths with +/- 0.5 mm. tolerance

d) State-of-the-art die manufacturing plant with a production capacity of 2,500 extrusion dies per annum In conjunction with the above, ALUPCO's total capacities are as follows:

Total extrusion capacity: 65,000 Metric Tons of aluminium profiles in mill finish per annum
Total anodizing capacity: 12,000 Metric Tons of anodized profiles per annum
Total chemical brightening capacity: 1,500 Metric Tons of brightened profiles per annum
Total coating capacity: 33,000 Metric Tons of coated profiles per annum

Manpower
ALUPCO currently employs a total of 800 skilled, experienced and well-trained personnel
of different nationalities.





Quality Standards
The design and production of aluminium profiles as well as surface treatment with various finishes
are as per International Standards: EN (European), DIN (German), BS (British) and SASO (Saudi).


ISO Certification
In 1995, ALUPCO qualified for ISO 9001 certification (the first ever aluminium extrusion company in the Middle East that is conferred with such distinction).

ALUPCO is renowned for its high quality products kingdom-wide and abroad.
Apart from the Saudi Arabian market which accounts for almost 70% of ALUPCO's total annual sales, large quantities are being exported to GCC States (United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman); to Middle East (Syria, Lebanon, Jordan,Yemen, Palestine); to Africa (Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Mauritius, Senegal, Kenya, Ghana, Mauritania); to European countries ( United Kingdom , Ireland ,Belgium, France , Germany , Greece , Poland , Switzerland , Austria ),and South America ( Argentina , Uruguay ) and Asia ( Pakistan, Vietnam ).
